Alright since questions about changes tend to come up....here's a thread for it. But any updates on Ranks will not be posted here. See other thread for that. (but as of now there will be NO changes for ranks)

There isn't really anything new other then a few new threads from a few topics that were split.

One or two threads were deleted along with some posts to clean up a thread. Mostly only random nonsense was deleted. interesting stuff like discussing a glossary or discussing books weren't deleted.

Alright by request I've added the amount of privates messages you can have in your inbox and outbox. Beyond that you guys will just need to do some deleting.

Also might add some smilies. but their being annoying right now. maybe I'll see if I can do it tomorrow. or thursday.

and I made a note in the admin support area where they allow you to promote. Smile

I enabled the portal! (so instead of http://blackmagiciangr.14.forumer.com/index.php remove the /index/php and anything after and you'll see it.) I kind of like it. what do you guys think?

There are also alot of new forum that I installed.

xboxextreme (black and green)
an xbox style.
a subsilver one (silver and blue) my new favorite.
a subportal. (silver and teal)
last crusade (yellow and orange)
Acid (green and yellow)

whoa! i wondered what on earth had happened when i came on here today lol it wasnt until i logged in that it went back to normal, phew. had me in confusion for all of 30secs lol

Wow, the portal looks really cool Smile

I think I'll try out the xboxextreme-style later ^^ anyway, there are all announcements in the portal, and of some I think they don't really belong into the portal, like 'pronouncing the names', 'Book Covers', 'Cannot Login'...
I especially like the 'last seen' Smile

Btw, did you notice the forum is on the first place on google search? I typed in 'Forum "Black Magician Trilogy"' and the very first site was the forum!

yes I noticed that about the annoucements. can't change it though. unless we change a few to no announcements. some of them don't need to be annoucements.

I just read alira's pm about the forum. it is cool. Even searched it myself.

anyone notice the change of logo? (the new ones might not have them yet)

well I don't think it's at the bottom. should be at the top. depends on which ones you guys are using. mine goes all the way across the top.

but yet that's the logo. I thought it kind of fit with BMT

I've opened a up a few more areas for public. I opened up the general area for age of five. Ebony if you think I should open more in that area pm me or bring up in mod area.

There is general access for the notice board (non mods), welcome, general, trudi canavan, upcoming books and history and lore. All mods should have mod power in those areas. If anyone sees something not appropriate before a mod/admin does point it out.

Exactly... Spam is deleted as soon as a moderator sees it and the IP addy gets banned Confused

Whenever you see posts full of ads and links, please don't post anything afterwards, so the mods can see right when they come on the board that there is spam just by the name. All those spammers are guests and are shown as Anonymous in the portal.

Thank you Rothen for the PM. I don't know if there was another one, and if there was I assume Alira deleted it, but I deleted the one that was here. I've also went into an advanced mode in the admin. panel and only registered users can post in ALL forums.

Most of us read all posts, so if you hadn't posted what you did Alira or I were bound to find it. You made the right choice though by PMing me and making sure I found them so they could be deleted if no other mod found them before me.

But Alira is right in the fact that we check out anonymous posts first since they are usually spam.
