Yes, believe it or not its only 49 days until christmas!! I bought my first christmas present yesterday, and i have a million to go...
I always tend to get in the christmas spirit waay to early every year, so i try not to be tempted to put christmas songs on my mp3-player yet (yes, i dont have an iPod.. and proud of it!).
Has anyone seen any snow yet? Are you looking forward to christmas, or just panicking because of the stress of it all?
Does anyone have any strange christmas traditions? I think its weird enough that we drag a tree in to our living room and decorate it:P |

I dont get quite as excited about Christmas as I did when I was younger
I suppose in the last few years I've had exams just before Christmas, so im busy worrying about them! lol
And this year I have lots of college assignments to work on up to Christmas, so Im not really in the festive mood...
And I hate how commercialised it has become, sorry to sound cynical
But i am looking forward to a month off college over Christmas! _________________ -ALCHEMIST-

We celebrate it on the 24th Des, while i guess in Uk and USA they do it both on the 24th and 25th.. or was it just on the 25th.. hm.
And unlike the tradition they have there, where santa comes in through the chimney in the middle of the night with presents, He comes trough the door and meet the norwegian children:P Dont know if i ever believed in him. I just remember triyng to figure out who was playing santa:) Wasnt that difficult to find out since they wore a plastic santa mask.. i might have been 5 or whatever, but not that stupid. |

No strange traditions for me or my family, really.
I always have mixed feelings about Christmas, ranging from loathing, to apathy, to thinking that even if it's a meaningless holiday it's at least an excuse to be happy or try to make others happy.
Oh wait, there is one sort of strange thing my immediate family and I have going. Favours count as a christmas present. If we don't have the money or inclination to get someone what they actually want for Christmas, then it's perfectly acceptable if we just keep in mind we didn't get that person something for Christmas. Then when they really want something or we see something that we think they'd really like, we buy it then.
It gets a little hard to keep track of it sometimes though. _________________ - -яεŋ яσвε ιиιтιαтε

What I really like about christmas is the holiday so I can just crash. Unfortunately I have exams in January so I have to do work over the holidays unlike most years. _________________ "Strike a light or light a lantern! Something I have hold of has no head."
