Hope everyone is well

So I was wondering what particular names in BMT really caught your attention, and perhaps which ones you truly hated

Oh and if you want you can talk about names of places as well

My fav place names: Kyralia Elyne and Lonmar. I also like Capia, Imardin, Arvice, (i cant think of any more just now)

I disliked Lan, its too short a name!

Character names i love: Sonea, Dannyl, Lorlen, Akkarin, Tayend, Tania, Rothen, Cery, Dorrien.

Disliked: Ranel, Issle, (I'll think of more...)

So I'd just LOVE to hear your views on this matter!

I think all the names are great and i love the name Akkarin Trudi makes great names and i cant think of any i dont like

Im glad you love the names so much, It does add to the greatness of a book

I actually was hard-pressed to think up names I didnt like, but I wanted to mention ones I was less happy with.

Names are really important for a book if you ask me.
I liked the names in BMT (especially Akkarin, Rothen, Dannyl, Donia, Vinara-character names and Kyralia, Elyne, Imardin.....)
I didn't like the name Sonea. The similar name exist where I come from and I know two women ,who I don't like wery much, who have that name.

I agree completely, a great book would fall down if the names were silly

Every author should take time to think up decent names. Nothing annoys me more than a fantasy book with a character with a stupid name, ie. "Pug". That is the worst lol But maybe no one agrees...
