This thread is for any and/or every quote from the BMT that instantly made you smile or get warm fuzzies, even if it's for a stupid reason.

Having just finished reading The Magicians Guild again (in a new record, I might add: less than 4 days, fitting it around work and various other commitments), I'm finding that I'm liking Dannyl even more this time around. This is a quote that instantly made me smile:

Dannyl gave his friend a haughty look. "Who was right about Fergun, then?"
Sighing, Rothen nodded. "You were."

This was just after the Hearing at the end of the book. It's a true "I told you so" moment. What makes it funny is how Rothen just submits and gives him what he wanted to hear. Dannyl's smugness is almost palpable.

That one gets me as well, Sonea Nee. Haven't got that far into the books this time around yet, but almost all of the Dannyl - Tayend dialogue made me make embarassing fanboy noises in my head.
