Well, Lord Dannyl's MY fav character, ever since I first read BMT. There's something so likeable about him, and I really think he has the funniest lines!

well, Akkarin is my favorite.. sorry:P But i see what you mean. I like the conversations between Rothen and Dannyl, and when Dannyl meet with his arch enemy Fergun, and the tension between them makes it so funny.

Kallye, I think Akkarin is great too, Im just a bit wary of SOME girls who are "in love" with him. (shakes head in exasperation)
I agree Dannyl's interaction with Rothen is hilarious, he sure does love poking fun at his old Mentor
I enjoyed his parts with Fergun (or Fergy as I like to call him) as well. I was actually disapointed when he was sent to the Fort! I kept hoping he'd pop up somewhere in The Novice, and say " heeeeeeeere's Fergun!!" (if you've seen the film The Shining). and Dannyl would silence him with a clever retort and a mindstrike.

I love Akkarin because Sonea does, but then I love Dannyl because he's so sweet but not in a way that makes you feel sympathetic for him because of it...

I mean I admire Sonea, Akkarin, Lorlen, Even Dannyl for his strength, smarts, and teenage michievious side (Plus, we have something in common, lovers of gossip ^-^) But when reading the book, I feel like I'm Sonea, and you can't love yourself! Well you can, but I''m not narcissistic ^-^ (Spelling?)

Plus, call me gay, but him and Tayend are just so adorable! I don't think I've liked a gay couple this much... ever! *sighs* Makes me wish he wasn't gay.. If ya no what i mean hahaha

I'm kinda cut up about who to love more, but I suppose Akkarin's a gonner, so the competitions gone for the next trilogy ... ? ?

I think if I ever got to meet one (I know its impossible, but thats what day & night dreams are for =D... And a little "medication" Haha
btw.. I'm joking, D.W. No Druggies Here =D)
... Hmm.. Okay, back to the point, If I ever meet one of them, It'd be Dannyl, he's so much more open and funny ^-^. Akkarin would just sit there drinking Anuren Dark.. Thought his wit can be entertainig at times... plus he's so tortured ...

I gotta say, Dannyl acts much more youthful and energetic... Akkarin has aged before his time..

I love them both! I cant decide.

Akkarin is great, but he's only in love with Sonea, so if you met him it would be disappointing...

Im with you, I'd have to meet Dannyl! That'd be such a laugh...
I love how he's very intelligent, but also mischievious at times. ( I love when he gathers gossip and listens in to conversations HaHa )

I used to feel I was weird for thinking Dannyl & Tayend were so adorable. But after coming here i realised im not the only one, so dont worry about it

Glad you share my enthusiasm about Mr Dannyl lol If he's not with Tayend, I think it ruins everything

But maybe if he's not, there will be an exciting storyline about Tayend's Revenge... HeeHee, that sounds sinister!

I hope it goes from Dannyl's view again, along with Cery and Rothen. It'll definately follow Lorkin & Sonea.

There's a new blurb on Trudi's site, its whats on the back of the book. I got so excited

But it made me worry that the book may not follow Dannyl's point of view, if Lorkin's his Assistant than i doubt it will follow BOTH their points of view

I think the title of the trilogy "Traitor Spy Trilogy" is meant to mislead us... like "Black Magician Trilogy" mislead us, we thought it was Akkarin.. then it turned out to be Sonea too.. so with TST it could have the literal meaning, or the meaning that includes "Factions".. like the spy amongst traiitors , or traitors amongst spies... or a traitor's spy...

When trudi said that magicians live longer then the average person, did they mean older than medieval/victorian age people did, or 21st century people?
