| Announcement: Forum Rules |

The moderators and I have discussed a few basic rules and I have taken a few from the guild rules from the alechemy/healing sections and edited them to fit the forum. For role playing rules refer to those guild rules. (exept the one mentioned below)
Rules
You must obey the rules of the forum. If you do not already know these rules, make it you first task to learn them, ignorance is no excuse.
1.) Respect Opinions: All members must remember to show due respect to Guild members, respect each other’s views, remember to never use offensive language. Be kind to all members and be respectful. There will be differences of opinion. Respect people’s opinions. If you have a different opinion, state it, and why but be nice and respectful about it.
2.) No Flaming! We will not accept flaming. This goes along with the rule above. “If you can’t say anything nice, then don’t say anything at all.” If someone does flame you, do not respond. Let the mods/admins deal with the person. If they flame you by private message let an admin know! We can take away their right to private message.
3.) Obey Moderators: You must obey the orders of any moderators. That said we treat this with some flexibility. But 'do not' presume to decide yourself when and how flexible we should be.
4.) Spam: Do not post spam. No and if’s or buts. What do we consider spam? Inappropriate ads that refer to adult content or any product that someone is trying to sale just because. This is the biggest rule. We will not put up with anything when it comes to spam!
5.) No discussion of illegal stuff: No talking about drugs (unless it’s meds for a cold). If it’s illegal, then it doesn’t belong on this forum.
6.) Stay On Topic: Try to stay on topic in threads not in the off topic area. posts that have been off topic/irrelevant after 5 comments may be deleted. This to help keep the forum tidy, relevant and keep the appeal of the forum up.
7.) No Nonsense: no posts with just stupid nonsense
8.) Posting: Do not just post to Rank up. (Post only when you have a valid reason to post like comments on a new book.)
No posts with one or two words. Posts with one or two words may be deleted.
9.) Spoilers: When a new book comes out put a spoiler warning up until enough people have read the books or include the book title.
10.) Roleplaying: don't overuse roleplaying ideas like for example trashing an office.
11.) and most important HAVE FUN!!!
Following these rules will ensure that you will not be warned and/or result in your thread being locked.
