Lorlyn paused in what she was doing and looked over at nim and odessa. "I'm using sandlewood and another herb to test for poison but silver would be a good addition. "

Nim turned to Lorlyn and nodded. "Do you need anything else? I have some St. John's Wart." As an after thought quite shamfully she added "Is anybody injured? I have some lotions in my bag that could help."

Smiling, Odessa handed the pin over. "Try it. It works on most human poisons. It'll turn black or other strange colours in the presence of poison in liquids.."

Lorlyn took the pin and put it next to the herbs in the blood and watched to see if it would change colors. "so far the herbs aren't turning black. The silver didn't turn black but we should wait another minute for the silver before we are sure." Lorlyn turned towards Nim. "I'm fine. I didn't get any cuts. How about you?"

Nim chuckled and it echoed in a dark way "I have one or two but i'm a fast healer. They'll be healed in a few hours, they just need a clean. What about the others? Are any of you cut? Wouldn't want an infection."

Having decided that the creature was safe, lorlyn moved closer to carter and spoke. "should we move along? perhaps there is a lake nearby. Creatures are bound to smell the creature"

Nim opened her canteen and started cleaning the cuts she had gotten. She double checked no one was badly injured and started washing the blood out of her hair.

Meanwhile, feeling hungry, Odessa resumed her attempt to spear fish out of the lake.

The camp and its inhabitants quickly move on to continue their search for live souls.

Floot went ahead of her companions to check out for any traps that may of been left by brigands.

Odessa continues spearing fish. After a while, she has caught a nice pile, and started cooking them on the fire. "anyone has spices?"

Nim reaches into her pack and pulls out a jar of mixed spices. She wanders over to Odessa and hands her the jar.

"When your done with that Odessa, we've got to get going. How many do you have there?" asked lorlyn as she walked towards odessa, not quite close enough to see how many fish odessa caught.

Floot came back to camp. "The road looks fairly clear up ahead" What can i smell cooking???". She sits down by the fire looking hungrily at the fish.

"Hurry up would you?" Nim whispers to Odessa then turns to the rest "I don't really want to fight anymore, especially not one of those things. Carter! What was that thing?!"
