"I know how to move ward stones" said Lorlyn. She moved towards the ward stone. She threw up a shield around everyone before she moved it.

"Is it safe in their Borne? Do you know of anything else except the stone?" Nim asked a dagger by the ready at her side. "If so tell us now we don't want to be unprepared, if not then we'll take our chances."

Mirar watched Lorlyn in interest. She might know a thing or two. "You will not succeed. So far, I have not seen anyone with the ability to control the amount of power released by the Stones. I do not doubt your high-level abilities, but I'm telling you, the Stones were made to control the Elements, and they are as powerful as the Elements themselves." Mirar said to Borne. "But if we just stick together first to explore this area, I predict that you will gain my trust, and I will gain yours; resulting in you understanding why I have to do this." Mirar said as he looked at Borne straight in the eyes, showing his sincerity in this matter. This should work out, he sent to Tya, I will really need the Stone if there is something dangerous in this area. Turning to Lorlyn, he sent, Good job, elf mage, now draw away the wall wards power. Let's see how you do it.

"I spent the first few days i came here in there and i never sensed anything or saw anything. I do know that i put up a few spells around the stone and that is what the magic in there is as i wasn't sure whether i would be able to stay with the stone twentyfour seven. I also know that there is no sign of life around the wards for about a mile in each direction." Borne answered to Nim. Looking into Mirar's eyes Borne saw the sincerity but he wasn't a hundred percent sure about him yet. "I am sure that we may gain each others trust but it will take me a few hours before i can take down the protections that i have placed around your stone, but i am sure that Lorlyn could take a few down as they are just basic magical protections."

Lorlyn glanced at Borne at his comment about basic magicial protections. She glanced back down at the ward stone and focused. She moved the ward stone, moving it so that the protective wall that the ward stone created bent in such a way that it would allow someone though. "You can go though now" said lorlyn with her eyes closed still focusing on the stone making sure it stayed it place so it wouldn't close on someone as they stepped though.

Borne walked towards the opening that Lorlyn had made and went through it and made his way towards the centre.

(assume this post happens after everyone walks safely though, so Borne since you've already walked though, wait a minute for the others to be able to do so) Once everyone was through Lorlyn, she stepped through herself, and put the ward back in place and watched as it's shield snapped back in place. She sent out her senses to make sure there were no more wards. Once she was done sensing the magic in the area she looked over at Nim and spoke. "There are no more wards that are a danger to us but this place is heavy with magic" said Lorlyn.

"ok everyone be careful then if you run into a barrier get either Lorlyn or Borne to take it down. Be aware of magical traps as well. They can be triggered by absolutely anything"

"The wards are closer to the centre so iif you stay closer to the wall wards then you will be ok and i shall get down to taking the protectin down." said Borne sitting down crossed legged and closing his eyes. Drawing on his power he started taking the protections down one at a time.

After walking through the opening Lorlyn had created, Mirar winced at Nim's comment. She didn't trust him enough yet. But Borne's pretty confident. Mirar smiled at the thought. Tya stepped through the barrier cautiously, making sure the wall of magic didn't fall onto her. Mirar said, "So Borne, what are the conditions between us so as to allow to get my Stone back?" Mirar sent an additional note to Lorlyn: Be wary of Borne. Tell Nim.

(no mind to mind communiction with me. Lets assume my mind is closed off to that kind of communication. I may know how but have chose not to, as I've had no need for it, especially being surrounded by people who don't use it and that I don't know that you do know how to communicate that way) Lorlyn glanced around the area, glancing back at Mirar when she heard him speak. She turned towards Borne and spoke. "Perhaps before you take down the wards shielding the elemental stone you should discuss the conditions of letting Mirar have it back. If it's as powerful as you say it is, once Mirar has it he'll be more powerful then all of us combined. I would rather know what to expect before walking in blind"

(Okay, Lorlyn. But may I ask why?) Mirar wondered why the elf mage, Lorlyn had not replied to any of his mental calls and warnings. Puzzled, Mirar looked over to the elf mage. There was no clue that she had even received the messages. Of course! She is not part of the AoE. She wouldn't have learnt how to communicate mentally yet. Mirar smiled at Lorlyn in a reassuring manner, "I agree with you there, elf mage Lorlyn. Let's discuss the conditions first. Though I do not blame your lack of trust in me, I must remind you that Borne here is equally or even more powerful than me. If you do not trust me, I see no reason why you should trust him." Turning to Borne, he said, "No offence Borne, but I hope you feel the same way as me. I do not trust you enough yet, and neither do you to I. But let not conflict fall between us, for if that occurs, it will be a messy and unpredictable." All this was said in a neutral manner, without any hint of contempt or other emotion. Mirar hoped he had gotten his point across to both of them.

"There is as they would say...method in our madness. That is all i will say on my part of this trust business but please if you will Borne, Mirar i agree with Lorlyn we need some conditions. If we go into this blind we could be killed and i don't like being killed."

Mirar saw what this was leading to. "I hereby swear upon my life that I will never harm anyone in this group unless their actions mean any of the Elemental Stones harm. That includes you too, Borne. If I break my promise, you may do whatever you wish to me." Mirar said without hesitation. Turning to Nim, Mirar said, "Fear not, for I mean you, and your company, no harm." Back to Borne. "And I also agree to the presence of conditions, so let's see about that now."
