in about 100 posts your rank will change to novice.

Yes, we are talking about two things. One is your post rank, which carries on going up as you record more posts (see the thread on Ranks for that), and the other is how you roleplay. You can roleplay as a novice straight away, take part in lessons, and act as a novice. Your post rank wont represent this, but you'll be a novice alright :)

We have have members like Nimira, who's rank say their a magician but they have chosen to still play a novice for some time.

start with Zurina's office, which I think you might of (I see an post update in my email) and then perhaps go to your room in the novice quarters. Make your way around the guild a bit and then go to lessons. Of if you want you can go to lessons first and then explore the guild a bit more.

Come along to the Head of Healers thread just any time you want to, and we can talk about healing and lessons and whatever you would like to.
