Revan sat down heavily, grateful for some rest. he watched what Ora learned, and tried to memorize it.

"Sure, go ahead," SE nodded and watched.

Ora created a strong shield and waited for SE to praice it. She hoped she did well...

SE could see that there was no wasted energy on heat or colour, so that was good. But Ora had made it a little unnessesarily big; it would have been enough if she simply extended it a few inches from her skin. Nevertheless, SE sent a small firestrike at it and felt that it was quite strong and stable. "Good one Ora, it doesn't waver and seems firm..." she went on to mention the change in size she could attempt.

Ora realised that her shield was too big so she created another one. This time it was as strong as first one, but it was a bit smaller. Ora smiled satisfied.

Revan spoke a few words with SE, and was dismissed. He would go to his room fro training, and he would resume in the next class.

Ora bowed to SE and went to her room. She was so tired... She smiled when she remembered how much she learned that day

Akala walked with the other novices from the University over to the arena. He explained on the way the history and usages of the arena, and tried to reinforce the idea that warrior skills were not only useful for fighting, but in bringing out the strengths and weaknesses of the magicians. It was a lesson that he had only just learned himself. Noticing the Head of Warriors, he inclined his head politely. 'My Lady SE, may I introduced LS and LD. I am showing them the sites of the Guild.'

SE smiled at the two new novices. "You two are lucky to have a guide. So many new novices get lost the first few weeks!" SE nodded in greeting at Akala. "Well, don't let me keep you guys. Hoping to see you both here sometime soon. Are either of you particularly interested in pursuing Warrior skills?"

Shadow followed Akala like a half-shadow. Listening intently at what he said, she grimaced slightly. Warrior skills might be useful for many magicians, she could not see herself engage in any fighting at all, magical or not. Coming to the Arena, Shadow quickly looked around, taking in the area. Hearing the mention of another magician, her eyes swivelled around and locked upon Shadowed Empress. Shadow bowed quickly, eyes locking on the ground. Hearing the question, she swallowed and looked up for a split second. "Lady, I... to speak honestly I am interested in seeing bouts in the Arena. But I am not really convinced that actually fighting myself would be something for me." Swallowing again, her eyes swivelled back and forth between the ground, the other novices and Lady Shadowed Empress, wondering for the reaction of the magician and scared she might have said something inappropriate.

LD followed Akala & LS. She bowed quickly before speaking. "Lady, i am interested in pursuing either warrior skills or healing. So far i prefer warrior skills." LD smiled slightly, looking around.

Shadow turned her head and looked at the other new novice. 'So a probable future warrior. From what I heard there are not all that many women Warriors yet. I wonder if she won't change to Healing after all in the end.' Her eyes shifted back to the woman, realizing that even though there might not be many women Warriors yet, the Head of Warriors was a woman after all. Grinning to herself, Shadow shifted her weight to the other leg as she was getting cramped legs.

Akala smiled. 'Excuse us for taking up your time, my Lady.' Akala bowed, and beckoned LS and LD to him. 'My fellow novices, it is getting late. Time has defeated us. Perhaps it would be good if you went back to your rooms now, and got a good nights rest. Tomorrow we will meet back at the basic skills room, which we visited earlier, and your lessons will begin. Thank you for being such good company, I hope you enjoyed the tour. I shall see you in the morning.' Bowing again, and nodding to SE, Akala took his leave. Shadow quickly bowed in return, smiling as she looked up at Akala. "And I thank you for the tour, it was very interesting, though I have a feeling there will still be more we have not yet seen. The Guild certainly is a lot larger than I could have imagined." Looking around, she tried to remember where the Novice Quarters were located. Thinking to know it, she smiled again. After saying her thanks once more, she walked over to the building and to her room.
