"Yes, you've got it, but make sure you maintain it, now..." SE created an inner shield around Wintersnake and Diagon. "Are you two ready to try out your new skills on eachother?"

(Only problem.... Dia won't be back for a couple of weeks....)

(Ah... maybe you and Akala can pair up then, since it's only going to be the two of you... unless other warriors who haven't yet come to any lessons finally arrive...)

(No problem then) "Okay, I think I'm ready, my lady...."

Akala nodded to Regin. 'My dear Regin, I hope you will understand if I square off with young WinterSnake before I take you on. For our training, you understand...' Akala moved away from Regin, ready to face WS. 'Are you ready?'

"Well, yes, I think so...."

"Lady SE, may I join in?" Balkan asked, wanting to see how the other novices were getting on.

"Sure, sure. But I'm, afraid you'll have to sit this one out for a minute. I want to see Akala and Wintersnake, then we'll begin the lesson altogether again." SE moved into position near the two and created strong inner shield for them both. "Begin!"

WinterSnake looks at Akala nervously since she prefer physical fights over magical ones.... She shielded herself effectively and quickly, thanks to SE and she builded up her strike and directed it to Akala

Akala faced up, smiling. He relished the chance to flex his warrior skills, even though he didn't see himself as a warrior, long term. He threw up an effective shield, making sure it was not too solid or blocky. He watched as a stike came from WS. 'That was stronger than I expected. She is strong,' he thought, grunting slightly. He stood his ground, remembering the knowledge that strikes should be invisable, before gathering magic to his will, and let a strike move towards WS...

WinterSnake, scared of Akala's strike as he gestures, dives onto the floor before he even strikes it, managing to hold the shield up....

SE lifts an eyebrow at WS dodging the strike instead of deflecting it but doesn't say anything as she doesn't want to break their concentration. She nods encouragingly at WS as she gets off the floor.

Interesting...wasn't expecting that... Akala debated whether to press forward, perhaps striking at WS whilst she was lying prone. He decided against it, as this was only a practice bout. Your *first* practice bout he remembered. He could get a taste for this... Akala waited until WS had regained her feet. He smiled, and turned to his fellow novice. 'You go again, my dear. I am sorry I alarmed you.'

"Oh, no, it's fine.... It's just me family deals with sword fights....thanks...." WS got up, hesistant to strike Akala but she eventually gained magic and directed it towards Akala, now able to make it yellow transparent colour instead of a solid yellow colour, preparing herself for Akala's strike....

Balkan watched on, and thought about what Akala was going to do next.
