"Alright, Charen, I think we should practice a little. At first, you'll blast different strikes at the shield in front of me." Alira creates a vertical disc of energy in front of her.

“Okay, my Lady.” Charen stands up from the bench. She goes on the field and stays in front of Aliras disc. She sends two firestrikes and a heatstrike at the shield. The two firestrikes hit the disc but the heatstrike misses the disc and hits Alira.

Alira luckily creates a shield subconsciously, and therefore extremely fast. "CHAREN!!! Do you want to burn me??? Well, you'll have to learn how to aim before you can learn how to increase the power of your strikes. Focus on the target"

“Ah, sorry Lady Alira.” Chaton bows her head. “It won't happen again.” She aims at the disc and sends a forcestrike at it. The forcestrike hits the disc.

"Well done!" Alira makes the disc smaller. "Try to hit it now."

Charen grins. Then she aims again. The forcestrike misses the disc shortly.

"Try again. Until you hit it 10 times in a row."

“10 times?!” Charen stares at Alira. She aims at the disc and sends a forcestrike again. This time the forcestrike hits the disc. As do the next 6 ones. But the 8th one misses the disc.

"And another 10 times." Seeing Charon's puppy dog eyes, she says "15. No excuses."

15!! I'll never cope with that. Charen sighs and aims again. She sends 5 forcestrikes at the disc and 3 at Alira but in a way that it looks as if she had missed the disc.

"Alright, I see you're getting tired. Do you want to write an essay about the the different forms of strikes and their purposes in a battle instead?" Alira grins maliciously, knowing that Charen hates writing more than anything else.

“No, Lady Alira.” Charen dreads the thought of it. I hate writing essays.

"Then hit the disc. 15 times in a row. I have time today."

“Yes, my Lady.” Charen sends 15 forcestrikes at the Disc. 14 hits it but the 15th hits Alira. “Uh sorry, sorry, My Lady! This was not on purpose!”

"If it had been, I would have killed you by now." Alira sounds absolutely seriously. Charen believes her for a moment and appears to be very frightened. Then Alira bursts out laughing. "Come on, you know I would never do that. I see you're tired. Let's sit down for a moment and watch the other novices."
