Mmm. There's a lot I like about this series of books, and much that I wish the series didn't have. I love the series (it's one of my favourites; with Richard being my fav. character of all), but sometimes it just gets a little long-winded... so I find it hard to recommend it as a good series to people...

I've just watched the third episode and its definately growing on me. Its better from this other site though you can't choose to have it full screen. I think they are probably going to miss out the mud people, which i think is a bit of a shame.

What other books would you compare this too? Had the last book in the seriss come out or will there be more?

I'm not sure what i would compare it to. The last book Confessor has been out quite a while now, Its really good. I know that Terry Goodkind has now got a 3 book deal with another publisher but i'm not quite sure what they are about. It will probably say on his web site.

Added these books to my growing wish list at amazon. Maybe I will buy some of them when I get my pay from work.

These are the books that really got me in to fantasy big time. They are again pretty gruesome and graphic at times. They certainly made me cringe in a few places. I've read all of them at least 2 or 3 times and some of them more.

Sounds really good- Looking foreard to ordering and reading them. When I finally get around to reading them I will tell you if I loved/liked them or hated them (I hardly hate books so I guess it will be love ot like) :lol:

The characters are great and i wih Richard was a real man so that i could marry him lol.

OOoooohhhh Even better a man to fall in love with. I like that. (But can't forget Akkarin though)

(I could quite happily marry Akkarin too) One of my other fave charcters that your bound to like is Zedd. he makes me laugh and he just reminds me of old men who still have the knack of charming women.

yeah thats the thing with fantasy figures and imagination, "can marry" as many you like and change them with mood and which book you are reading at the moment.

I wanna marry Richard!! He's got a certain dark quality, along with lots of passion for life amongst other things that I love to bits...and wish existed in real men these days
