"Yes, my lady. I'm not sure what to do in an essay, but I did my best anyway..." *WinterSnake hands the essay to her guardian.* "WinterSnake's Essay The mind is just like a room: a floor, four walls, doors and a ceiling. Unwanted memories can be pushed back into the door. Any other magician cannot see those memories unless the host let them see otherwise. Some memories can leak out without realizing it. Another door is a source of magic where one can draw upon that source of energy to heal. Healing: To heal a wound, one should detect and feel the flow of the magic; direct the magic to the place of the wound to heal the wound. Healing oneself is easier than healing others as there is a natural barrier which is the skin which means that contact is essential in order to heal others. " *WinterSnake nervously waits for her guardian response and she looks onto the ground*

Zurina reads Wintersnakes essay, nodding with a growing smile on her face. Looking up at her noivce she smiles, "Impressive, very impressive Wintersnake. Did you do this yourself or find reference in the library?"

"Well.... I kinda did it myself.... I mean, I remember those lesson terribly well as it was my first in a way and I remember what you said durin' the lesson...it was really interesting...."

"Very good. Its a promising start. And you recoverd fine afterwards?" Zurina asked her novice, seeing the eagerness in Wintersnakes eyes she decided to start todays lesson. "Today, we will be visiting your mind once again in order to full grasp that aspect. By doing this it will grow a strong foundation that is fundamental to using your magic. Not jsut for healing, but in general."

*WinterSnake beamed and she nodded* "I understand, my lady! I'm ready now...."

"Good." Zurina said. Beginning her mediatation Zurina waited for the invitation into Wintersnakes mind.

*WinterSnake closed her eyes and she imagined she was in a room. She smiled, opened the door and welcomed Zurina in* Hey, come in!

Walking into Wintersnakes mind Zurina looked around. The walls were empty, but not for long. "There is a thing Wintersnake, that all magicians can do, they can put their memories on display.......as it were. If you come with me back outside, i'll show you. Walking across they walked through the door out of Wintersnakes mind and looked across towards a traditinal cottage. "That, is my mind." Zurina informed her. Taking the lead Zurina walked thorough the door into her mind, and waited for Wintersnake to join her.

"Oh." *She looks at her guardian's mind in awe and she follows Zurina in* "That is so cool! I can't wait...."

Zurina chuckled as Wintersnake entered. THe door closed behind her and she said, "Welcome to my mind." Upon the walls were pictures within frames. "And these.." She began, gesturing to them are my memories. It is a way of showing you memories in a controlled way......rather than them leaking through the walls. This, is what i want you to learn to do."

"Oh, cool! I got an idea what my mind will look like...heehee... Oh, erm... I mean, what do I have to do now, my lady?"

"First, we need to go back to your mind." Once back inside Wintesnakes mind Zurina instructed her on what she should do. "It my take a while, but on this plain wall..." She began. "I want you to envisage a frame, for a picture. Once you have done that, i want you to conjure up a memory to fit within it, a memory you don't mind me seeing, perhaps from your childhood."

*WinterSnake nodded and she imagined a frame, but it came out shocking pink* "Whoops! I got a bit too excited! Sorry about that...." *She then changed her pink frame and it turned into a carved wooden frame. She relaxes, picks a memory she had with her family in a lake that she is rather fond of*

Zurina watched as Wintersnakes memory played in its now more sober frame. It flickered a bit and could have played more smoothly, but yet, for a first attempt it was really good. "Very good. Now fill all the walls with different memories, like you saw in mine. Do it slowly and pick your memories before trying to make them appear on the walls."
