Spare Healing Room
Next day... Lorlyn walks into the spare healing room waiting for Gecko to teach her some healing. She walks over to the shelf and pulls out two books; 'Basic Healing 101' and 'Easy Potions for Beginners' and sets them on a desk.

*opens the door and saunters into the room. Spies lorlyn and wonders over. grimaces at the books on the desk, pulling a face in a "do I ha-ve to" kinda way*

alright first I want you to start reading this healing book. open to chapter one. I want you to tell me what the most important two rules there are in healing.

*flicks the book open* er... *squints at the tiny writing all over the page* don't kill your victum?

yes that is very important. we can't heal them if they're not alive. it's also important though that we don't over heal them. do you know why we're not to heal them entirely with magic?

*suddenly cracks up laughing and gasps out* Don't kill your victum!!! *cracks up more* I mean patient!!! unless.. of course you are a terrible healer *stops to laugh* then it's a victum!

lorlyn ignored gecko's outburst. "well what's the reason why were not supposed to use magic to heal them all the way. just because your not good at it doesn't mean you can't understand it better" said lorlyn.

Um.. *gasps again and gets her laughter under control* *chews a lip, trying to remember learning anything in healing lessons* er... you might... kill.. your victum? *tries to keep a straight face but splutters out, laughing again*

no gecko. you won't kill your victim. and I very much doubt even you could manage that.

*gets laughter under control again. Frowns, trying to think* er- *flicks through a few pages of the book* you.. run out of magic?

no that's not the reason. what do you think happens if you heal a person all the time? what happens to their immune system?

*the pages make a crinkly noise as gecko flicks through them. Distracted by this, she flicks the pages back and forward, finally realsing Lorlyn is waiting for an answer* Oh! erm.. *doesn't remember the question.. so decides to go with a yes/no answer* Yes...?

you forgot the question didn't you? what happens to a person's immune system if you heal them all the time?

Oh! um.. yes! right... *thinks* umm... not good.. *shakes head* it er-... *stumbles on words then suddenly sees it in the book and repeats it word for word...* When someone is overhealed, their immune system becomes used to this and so doesn't react as well the next time they are hurt. Their body begins to rely on the magic to heal them. *and then shuts the book.. as if she came up with the answer herself..*

good. now look at this book. Lorlyn handed gecko the book 'Easy potions for beginners' now I want you to look in there and tell me what we use potions for in healing. find two potions and describe them. you may write it down.
