yes. got to practice my healing skills once in awhile. after all sitting behind the desk is boring.

*chuckles* that is is. So, do you want to take the first pacient through?

yea sure. lorlyn walks out from behind the desk and goes to a patiet sitting in the waiting room. "Hello there. you can come in now." The patiet follows lorlyn to a room. lorlyn stops and waits for them to walk into the waiting room. "so tell me how have you been feeling? sick?" lorlyn listens to the patients answer and then sends her mind out to search what's wrong with him. Lorlyn looks at the cut the patient memtioned. Searching that with her mind she finds it's extremly infected. She removes the infection with her mind. Lorlyn goes and gets a cream and rubs it on his hand. "now you're to take this and rub it on the cut twice a day to keep it from getting infected again and this will also help it heal." The patient got up and left feeling a little better.

Zurina sends the next patient in to see Lorlyn whilst ushering a young girl into her healing room. "Now what can i do for you?" She noticies that the young girl is nervous and clearly embarassed. "I......i think i m.....might be....." "Preganant?" Zurina said, finishing the girls scentence. The girl simply nods. Zurina places her hand on the girls stomach and searches within for life. Sighing she removed it moments later. "You were. I'm afraid theres no life within it now though. You've miscarried." Zurinas tone was sympathetic. She could tell that it had hit the girl hard, even unexpected babies can be hard to loose. "I'm very sorry." The girl began to cry and shake her head, saying she was silly being upset. Zurina kept the girl in her healing room for a while until the girl felt better, hoping the waiting room wasn't too busy, or that more healers had arrived.

lorlyn ushered the patiet zurina sent her into a room. "alright what seems to be the matter?" said lorlyn. "well I have a big cut on my leg" said the young boy. "how did you hurt yourself like that?" lorlyn asked looking at the cut. "I was hiding behind some metal." said the boy. "how long ago did this happen?" asked lorlyn "about an hour and a half ago." said the young boy. Lorlyn sent her mind out to the leg. "Well I'm afraid you have lead poisoning. We'll need to flush it out. come with me" said lorlyn. the young boy followed lorlyn to another room. he sat on a table that was near a water basin. lorlyn flushed it out with some water and using her healing powers willed the poison out of his wound and blood. Lorlyn closed up the wound until half healed and stopped the bleeding. she pulled out a cream and rubbed it over the cut, the boy wincing from the pain. "well that's all. keep it away from anything that can get it infected. and stay away from metal. You're good to go for now." said lorlyn. the boy smiled and slowly walked out of the clinic.

Zurina showed the young girl the door after fifteen minutes of trying to calm her down. "You'll be fine, i promise." She said to the girl, and reassured the girl left. "Next please." Zurina called. Her next patient was an elderly man and after a few moments withi his chest she discovered he was at the beginning of what could turn into a harsh winter of lung rot. "You have lung rot i'm afraid, and if its not treated now, you're going to spend all of winter in bed." "Thats not such a bad thing." The man grunted. Zurina chuckled, "Nope, but that can led to mre problems like you getting bed sores, and they are really nasty things. So its best to treat it now." Sending her mind in she willed away as much of the lung rot as she could. "Right, most of it is gone, but it likes your lungs and the rest is refusing to budge. Going over to a cupboard she took out a bottle. "This is a lung rot serum, take one spoonful of it every morning. no more no less and come back and see me in a week."

lorlyn watched as Zurina saw the young girl out. lorlyn turned towards the next patient. a young mother and a baby. "come with me" lorlyn said to the mother. The young mother followed lorlyn and nearly started crying. "There's something wrong with my baby. I've done everything that I can but nothing works. I don't know what's wrong with her" cried the young mother. Lorlyn bent down and took a look at the baby, moving the arms and legs every which way. lorlyn created a small globe light and shined it into the babies eyes. "well there isn't much wrong with her" said lorlyn. lorlyn held up her hand before the mother could say anything and sent her mind looking for what was wrong. "well she's got a bit of a cold. and her muscles are weak." lorlyn increased the amount of white blood cells in the baby and stregthened the muscles. "well that's all I can do for now. I strengthened her muscles so that should help for awhile. I suggest giving her as much protein as your able. Take this serum. it'll help with the cold. and take these vitmins and give her one a day. it'll help see her though winter better" said lorlyn. "thank you my lady" said the mother. Lorlyn walked the mother out the door and sighed.

Rothen came into the room and looked around, wanting to help.

Rothen would you like to take the next patient? I have a bit of paperwork to do......

Zurina walked into the empty clinic. It had been broken into again. Some dwells when desperate take measures that when in a normal frame of mind wouldn't dream of taking. It made Zurina sad, yet she understood. Breathing a sigh she stiffled her own cold and set to work cataloguing all the herbs, balms, medicines and lotions now missing. Savara wont be happy when i give her this list. Neither will Lorlyn for that matter. It was a free day and she hoped that Lireal would be true to her word and arrive at the clinic soon. She was also a warrior and would know ways in which to protect the building with magic. As she wrote down all that was now lost, someone walked through the clinic door...

*headed down to the clinic through the back streets of the slums happier now but she felt wary and nervous for some reason which was why although she was excited she was approaching the clinic through the alleys when she reached the building she wondered if she should tell Zurina of her suspisions when another figure entered the clinic.*

Zurina wandered from room to room writing the missing contents down. Lorlyn. She said mentally. Someone has broken into the clinic again, Will you be here soon? Yes, as soon as i can Zurina. Is it bad? Not overly, but more has gone missing. Lorlyns presence faded from her mind.......I wonder where Lirael has got to? She said to herself.

(uh...just got to remove myself from the other threads...:)) Lorlyn walks into the healing clinic and looks around, looking at the damnage done. Lorlyn walked though the clinic looking for Zurina. "ah, there you are" said lorlyn. "perhaps I should find out about getting guards posted here"

Hmmm, how about protecting the building with magic? The majority of houses in the inner circle are done so and have been for years. I'm sure a warrior would know the proper means in which to protect it maybe?

that would work. guards are likely to slack off anyways. perhaps lirael and SE could work on that. usually it's done when the building is built though. So I wonder how they would do it when it's already been built.
