i wanted Dorrien and Sonea to get together in the 2nd book, and i also wanted Sonea ad Cerry to get together in the 1st book. but by the 3rd book i was definately wanting Akkarin and Sonea together!

haha that's funny. somehow I think most of us most likely wanted that. but now even after Akkarin, I wouldn't want Sonea with Cerry. he might mean well but I just don't see it. but Dorrien. I could see that a little more.

I LOVE CERY. Dorrien is good too. I wouldnt mind either of them but I'd hate to see her with Regin. He's better, but that doesnt change what he did to her as a Novice.

ya. I agree on Regin. I wouldn't want her with him either. I'd be disappointed if Trudi wrote it that way.

My ever so slightly weird imagination was hoping for Akkarin/Sonea even when Akkarin was the "bad guy" in our eyes and was holding Sonea hostage. O___o

I just kept thinking 'He's not a bad guy, it's gonna turn out he's a good guy'.

how did your friend sense that they would end up way far in advance? I'm curious what threw them in that direction so early. what were the hints they saw? and in which book. I'd love it if you asked. :)

Well basically, she was writing a novel at the time and then she read the BMT, and found out that it had many of the same themes and plots as her book, incuding the relationship between Sonea and Akkarin, wih the bug age gap....so it was abit of a cheat knowing.

hm, pure coincidence then? Must have been disappointing to see her own plot already partly written. Bummer.

Wow, that's quite a coincidence. I was convinced when the dinner's started, in the Novice. Though I was wondering how it would be if they got together since the end of tMG, hehe. It just seemed so impossible back then that the idea was appealing to me.

i can remember reading TN and screaming at Akkarin to stop being such an @rse and leave sonea alone!! i completely hated him. my mate who had already read THL let smething slip about akkarin and sonea getting together, and i was like "WHAT!!!" that cant be happening!!!!!!! but by the time akkarin gets exiled, i was totally cool about them pairing up. :-)
