Yes, they do look weird. I wonder how they do normal things like cooking with those wings... and that those wings are big or strong enough to hold them airborne :-?

oh i havent seen this before! HA my syiee looks almost the spitting image of Trudi's version lol i dont think they look too bad, granted she hasnt really drawn them with much skill.

i agree with you, alira. i think that it would be hard for them to do normal household things like cooking because their wings would get in the way. Maybe the wing membrane 'folds up' into their arms or something so that they have more movement.

But then, the fingers are still very long and would be in the way. :-?

I think I might have imagined the Siyee to look more fairly-like, but the only thing that surprised me a bit about the picture was their size. I must have forgotten. The Elai look less fishy than I thought they would.

maybe. The Siyee were described very detailed, as were the Elai, especially that humans often imagined them to be less human and beautiful, Auraya was so surprised about what she saw when she met the Siyee for the first time, but they were described as rather small.

well Trudi sure has drawn the siyee rather small, i expected them to be more slim and slender with bones portuding.

yeah. i know that trudi described the siyee as small and that, but i still always imagine them in my mind as being tall, slender and beautiful. the elai i imagine as medium-built and a bit plump, with dark-blue skin and a fish-like face; maybe even a small tail...

yeah small as in 'slender' not small as in 'midget' lol as for the elai, small so they could slice through the water, strongly built, with muscles to power themselves along.

yeah. so. we all have different views about how the siyee and elai look compared to trudi, who is the actual creator of the two races! lol
