*sighs and takes a spade. Starts digging around the base of a tree. After a short while, she hasn't got very far* this is going to take ages.. why can't we just use magic?

She raises an eyebrow at Gecko, \"I never said that you couldn't.\"

*would glare at Jmerc... but she is a scary magician with a dragon so.. no..* *ok, so the good news? She's alowed to use magic. The bad news? She STINKS at magic* er... ok um.. so, I can use magic then? *kinda hoping Jmerc will just blast the tree for her...*

'Yes you may. Just use magic to move the dir away from the roots into a pile and then I'll lay the tree down.\" She smiles as a comment comes from Caloth.

Seeing Gecko look blank she sighes. "It's the same as moving any over object, just extend your will and move the dirt. Doing it slowly at first if need be and then speed up as you pick up practice."

*frowns as sweat forms on her brow. Some dirt is lifted up and begins a windey, wobbley journey away from the tree* Where should I put it? *it is sinking lower as she is having trouble keeping it up*

'Just over there' she points to a point not far from the tree. "You're doing well, just keep at it."

*the dirt continues its wobbley journey over to where Jmerc is pointing. Gecko grins as she drops it there. This is one of the most succesful bits of magic she has ever done! This and destroying Alira's robes that is... A slightly bigger lump of dirt is lifted this time, and floats across to the pile she is making, slightly faster this time*

'There you go. You're doing really well Gecko." she cheers Gecko. Caloth looks bemused and curls up to sleep.

*carries on shifting dirt, untill enough is shifted for the tree to come out. Looks very pleased with herself. This is the most successful magic she has managed so far!*

"hey jmerc how's gecko doing with you're dragon?" asked lorlyn though mental communication.

Smiling jmerc sent a call back. 'We haven't done much with the dragon yet. So far we're clearing the trees away. Gecko's doing well moving all the dirt. Through I think it maybe nessicary to take a break now.' Looking up jmerc spoke to Gecko, "Do you need a break from moving dirt or can you continue?"

*still shifting dirt, and quite excited by the fact that it's working, though she's running out of anergy faaast* I'm fine!

jmerc steadies the tree that Gecko is removing the dirt from, frowning at Gecko. She can sense Gecko's energy quickly running low, but she doesn't want to stop the girl now she's actually proforming magic to a good standard. Smiling she walks over to Gecko. Lowing the second tree beside the first, she points to the next tree. Before Gecko can start with the removing of dirt from the roots, jmerc place's her hand on Gecko's shoulder and channels mgic into her. When Gecko jumps nervously. "Don't worry, continue moving the soil. I'm just making sure you don't callopse on me. As entertaining as that idea maybe, it's difficult to do this jobs by one's self."

*scowls for a second, then shrugs. Glad she isn't going to collapse at least.. phew.* *mutters* very intertaining... *carries on shifting dirt, feeling very happy that this is actually working.. and glad she hasn't been roasted alive by ye ol' dragon.*
