Akala was as impressed as he thought he was going to be. 'That is amazing Lorlyn,' he swallowed. So I direct my thoughts to you? Is that it? Direct what I want to say? Akala was unsure of the technique.

"exactly. It takes some practice and getting used to doing it. Think of it like a forcestrike or any kind of strike. Instead of sending a ball of energy your sending a thought to a person that is harmless"

Akala nodded. 'Hmm, OK, like a strike. I picture you in my head, and direct my thoughts to you.' Akala concentrated, and tried. He closed his eyes, pictured his Guardian's face, and projected. Like this?

Hudine came into the office after knocking but didn't wait for an awnser. "Administrator it was all my idea, don't punish Nimra to badly, she was going along with my plan. The stuff is at the bowl house still."

Nim snorted "I'm not being punished hudine. I was just asking permission like we decided after you got the stuff. It's a no go but we can use the Dome for study. I think you'd better get a refund." She gave hudine a quick play-along-or-i'll-kill-you look when Lorlyn wasn't looking and sighed as she realised this could cause questions.

"I think you better take seat Hudine. Nim I thought you had left" asked Lorlyn a bit annoyed.

Hudine sat down beside Nimra meakly. "Ok."

"You didn't ask me to and Akala didn't ask me to. You just moved along and ignored me. I just thought Akala or yourself would still need me." Nim replied in a weak embarrased voice. A blush slowly rose to her cheeks as she realised she'd been stupid.

(you guys do realize mental calls aren't private right?) Hearing Nim's reply Lorlyn shrugged. "well that's true but one would think that when one isn't needed they would slip out or excuse themselves" said lorlyn. Hearing a mental call coming in lorlyn quickly blocked it out not wanting to know what was being talked about. Lorlyn rubbed her hand against her forhead a bit tired. "Alright one of you had better start telling me what's going on or you'll both get truth reads" said lorlyn annoyed. "Akala you don't have to stay if you don't want to but I understand if you do since Nim is your novice"

(yea I do, and you do relise you can't actually truth read us if we decide not to coperate) "I love the outdoors so much I feel closterphobic inside for long periods of time. I wanted to make a tree house in the forest because I feel more comfortable there. I sugested to Nimra if she wanted to join me to study there because I've been spending most my time in the forest, and if it rains we would need shelter. I didn't ask because I knew you would probably disagree because of the dragon, wich is completely unfair, the dragon isn't a thoughtless beast. She can put up with us, and she wouldn't eat or harm us. I've been close to her before in my nightly wonderings and she always seemed quite reasonable to me."

Way to go hudine Nim thought I only just finished my last punishment Nim just gulped and looked quite pale. She wasn't sick or anything but she had gotten into trouble recently and now again. All because she didn't leave. Mind you Zurina wasn't very happy when i excused myself. Maybe Lorlyn wouldn't be either.
