Somehow I imagined Faren as a twen, so when I re-read the books I was puzzled that he had grey hair. He always behaved so young, and Sonea spoke to him as if he wasn´t much older than she was.

I don't think I realised he had grey hair. I thought Faren was about 30.

He had grey hair?!! We thinking of the same person. I thought he had dark hair, tis how i imagined him anyway ^_^ lol

Ditto. He might have been getting flecks of grey in the last book.

Hmmm perhaps, is there a discription anywhere in the book to read? As in, does anyone have a page reference?

I've read the meeting in tHL and it doesn't gave a description there, and I haven't got tMG with me.

There´s a description of him at their 1st meeting, where it sais that in his dark hair there were some grey wisps around the temples. Its in chapter 7 of TMG, I think, somewhere at the end.

There you go. So it's not completely grey...just abit like Rothen's, just starting to go grey.

But then he must be at least 40 or rather 50. Far away from my at first suggested 25-30. And quite old for someone who lives in the slums.

30-40. Quite afew people go grey in thier 30's.

People age differently though don't they, i mean look at Brad Pit and Jonny Depp, not to mention Mathew Fow (jack in LOST :love: ) They are all over 40 and they look good :D

Well, men often look better when they become a little older...though 40 should be too old for me. :) But then Faren would even look older. Ahh,now I remember he told Sonea that his father was killed at the first purge and that he was still a small child then. So he should be 35-45?

i imagined him to be in his thirties too but i dont remember ever reading he has greyness! that cant have registered lol

I think I remember there being some mention of that. I thought the first purge was 50 years before hand.
