I agree, I don't think we saw the completely worse side of Sachakans, though the Ichani were horrible!!!
Actually i think we've seen the worst side of the sacharkans, with the inchani, because the rest of the sacharkans seem quite civilised i mean look at Savara!

ya we missed ya :D and ya i think the sacharkans are ok, in the book it said that savara was looking from the sidelines for her king, as she said they did'nt want to have the ichani running there own country so (reading between the lines) the sacharkans might not like the kyralinans but im sure thay dont want any trouble

Allthough saying that i'm sure a few more will join the inchani ranks after the fight making them a bigger problem!

Remember that the King drove the Ichani out into the wastelands, also remember that the Sachakan King is a magician. A VERY powerful magician. After all, how many willing slaves would a king not have? servants? A king could be very potent... I am fairly confident that the Ichani would eventually be controlled, however, them having a whole country to draw from would eventually become quite a problem... just not instantly. The sachakans were as civilized as the next, just a little angry about half their nation being a wasteland - done on purpose by the guild i might add. The guild created the wasteland to keep Sachaka poor.

yes but the country would be in turmoil when the king dies..

He might have a very strong son/daughter. Who knows? I'm sure that Sachaka would be a very strange place if the country fell into turmoil everytime a king died.

i dont mean that i just meant that if the ruler died within i dunno 3 years of the failled inchani ataack they would still feel a lot of resentment to the guild therefore if one became head of sachaka it would be quite worrying

we had a big disscusion on what the Cavern of punnishment atually was i mean like hole of punnishment or cave of punnishment or something like that
LittleRaven- 12-11-2006
It sounds like it was meant to punish magicians. I'm not sure if it was only for magician's, or if it just reacts to magic being used. It could have been used by magicians as an execution chamber and then reacted to magic being used because it was so old it no longer worked properly. Or it could have been used against magicians only, in some sort of persecution, by other magicians who claimed to have divine powers. But there's no hint of that.
Kasloumor- 12-11-2006
No but as Trudi hints there is something out there in Sachaka that it is even worse than the Ichani so perhaps the Cavern will play a part in the sequel. Only three more years to go before we will all know!!! Can't bloody wait.
