One thing i dont quite understand about the front covers for the UK is the colours of the magicians robes, and why they are holding staffs... but then again, theres a pegasus on the US version isn't there? Or some kind of mythical beast.

well the staff could be a warrior stand point. as for a pegasus...could someone project the image of one? but other then that it doesn't make sense. unless they used symbolism for the pegasus?

Yes, a flying horse... was supposed to be a dragon... because "it sells better"... seen the dutch covers? Some of them were already used for other books in different parts of the world :-? I'm happy with the robed persons, they fit a lot better than most of the other covers :) (they're not perfect either, but hey, ever seen a perfect cover? :lol: )

The artwork is very pretty, but not really want I want o the fornt of a book I'm going to read.

I found the swedisch cover at least it think this is the cover i like these ones a lott.
