Book Covers

At least the AotF ones have more to do with the story than the second and third ones of the US BMT edition. I mean, the second has a flying horse, and the third has them fighting in formal wear.

I'll sdmit that, but Auraya..well, she's wearing a skimpy outfit obviously amied at the male audiance.

i love the UK covers. i would never have read BMT if it wasnt for the funky covers.

That reminds me of a song about book covers. I found it hilarious when I first saw it.

My opinion on the American covers is that they are quite similar to most covers on fantasy books in america, they all have some sort of action scene, some scantily clad woman, obviously this is what sells fantasy books in America. I however can't stand this sort of cover and as much as I know you shouldn't judge a book by its cover, a nice cover always does attract me, and I find that in the UK, even though they are more simple, i think they look a bit more sophiticated.

That's what I don't like about the AoF covers, that BMT aren't bad, in fact I quite like them expect for the 'huh?' factor in some of them. I mean, on the VotG cover, Auraya looks like she's modeling a car! It's also what I like about the UK covers.

i love the darkness of the UK covers for AOTF, just a face in a hood. and the tiny army walking across the back, the silouette thingy. i really love it.

I love the UK covers of all of trudi's books, just a shame that 2 of my AotF books are the american cover!

I like the U.K. and Australian covers, though I agree with you seeing Auraya promoting a car on some :lol: but the colors are just great! :D
