LD nodded and took charge. She had the prisoner taken to an unused room deep inside the guild and kept him under guard. She leaned heavily against the wall outside the room, kept watch and waited.

Takan sat down in a seat across for the High Lady and began to speak. 'I was sent here by a relative of one of the magicians that lives here. Her name is Thania and I came her because we need your help. She is in great danger and we need you to keep a look out for her.'

"I'm afraid I have some bad news for you then. We found Thania murdered in the baths this morning. We're in the process of looking for her murderer now. Anything you know would be helpful" said Lorlyn.

Takan closed his eyes and put his head in his hands. I was too late, he thought. Takan remained slightly for a few moments. 'I knew they would come for her.' he said quietly. He looked up at the High Lady. 'It was all a mistake. None of this should have happened. We were both just in the wrong place and the wrong time. Lady Thania was returning here after visiting a relative in the City. I was escorting her back. Suddenly a fight between two magicians started in a street. We hid around a corner watching. When it was over, we both saw one of them draw a weapon and cut the other's neck and draw energy out of the cut. Lady Thania was very upset and the stranger heard her gasp and he came after us, hoping to kill the witnesses, I suppose. We escaped when Lady Thania created an illusion that looked like a brick wall. We thought we were safe because we assumed that the person didn't know who we were. But apparently not.'

Lorlyn watched as Taken described. "That sounds like black magic. Did it look like one of our magician's or a rogue or an invader even?" asked Lorlyn. (I'll reply more tonight. time for work :()

Takan shook his head sadly. 'I don't know.'

(kind of stumped for ideas now so do more sometime else) After a final Tya felt the shield on the door falter. A final blast of magic and the door swung inwards and caused a large cloud of dust to fly in her face. Coughing Tya stepped inside the room to fidn more clues.

After listnening to takan speaking to the high Lady Thernia walked toward him and checked to see if he was till ok to talk and ofund he was ok for a small time longer. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Borne walked around the area of the attack on the servant looking for clues as to who the attaker was and found a ripped piece of paper so he picked it up and walked towards the place where the prisoner was being held to wait for the High lady.

"Well have to look into it. Why did you run towards the guild grounds? for safety? or were you trying to get to Lady Thania?" asked Lorlyn. (I'll reply more later. time for work again :()

Partly because I thought that if I got to Thania in time, I could warn her and she could escape. But mainly becuase I had been sent here to deliver a message to you, a message I left with your servant. I dont know what it says - only that it is very important. (ok bye everyone, i'm off for three weeks)

"perhaps then now would be a good time for you to rest. I'm sure lady Thernia would like you to rest. I will go read the letter and then go speak to the stranger" said lorlyn. Lorlyn started to walk out of the door but paused for a second. "Lady Thernia, if you leave the healing quarters it might be wise to shield his room so that no one trys to attack him while he sleeps. Leave food and such since our friend here might not be able to get out without you lowering the shield" said Lorlyn before she turned and walked out of the door. Lorlyn headed back to the high residence and spoke to Servant Reyna. She got the later and sat down and read the letter. She set the letter down after reading it, thinking about what the letter had just written. (I'll make up what it says tomorrow after work :))

LD was pacing in front of the door. A sudden blast blew open the door and seconds later LD was thrown backwards. Barely conscious, she watched helplessly as the stranger exited the room. She saw him glance down at her before running. After a few seconds, she had the sense to send a mental call out to the other magicians. The intruder has escaped.

(did he? I'll have to look back) Lorlyn looked up when she heard the mental call that the stranger had escaped. "Where did he escape from? did anyone see where he went" asked lorlyn though mental communication forgetting about the letter.

Walking through the Guild Borne heard the mental call and hurried towards where he was being held and saw LD on the floor and bent down to help her. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Thernia heard the mental call and threw up a strong barrier on the room where the servant is and stood at the window to see who is coming and going in the healers quaters.
