Knarin's expression darkened. This girl was drawing too much attention to herself. He snarled. 'Why should I? So you can kill more people? I dont think so.'

Lorlyn glanced over at thernia. "Go. gather all the warrior. Weak or strong. Find LD (if she doesn't come in the roleplay don't worry about finding her). Surround the arena and watch for attackers. We don't know what direction they'll come from. If anyone hears noise from a certain side, like an attack. Go. don't run" said lorlyn.

Krlla stilled against her captor. "I don't kill people-- I don't know what you're talking about." She protested, stammering a bit she almost continued her protest but stopped realizing how weak and pathetic she sounded.

Knarin laughed coldly. He looked at the girl. This was just stupid. The master had reduced himself to getting teenage girls to kill people for him. He smirked. Pathetic. 'A bunch of black magicians wearing grey cloaks are invading the city and you just happened to dress up as one of them, eh? You're either a liar or an idiot.' Knarin smiled darkly. 'If you are just an innocent stranger, I guess you've released that you probably won't survive this invasion.' Knarin drew a long curved blade out of the sheath at his waist. He watched in satisfaction as the girl's eyes widened in horror. 'So I'll be nice and put you out of your misery now instead.'

Thernia hurried and started shouting for warriors to go tot the arena and stand in a circle and listen for anything. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Borne ran into the guild with some of the city guard following him and he told them to keep guard at the gate and run and tell a magician if the people in grey cloaks come near the gates. Borne ran to where the High Lady was and said "High Lady there are lots of them in the city and i have tried to slow them down but i dopn't know if it will work." Sending a little healing energy into himself and staraightened up. "I set some city guards at the gate to raise the alarm if they see them coming. What is it you would like me to do?" Asked Borne.

Krlla felt herself tense with fear as teh stranger pulled out the blade -- she'd managed to retain... or hoped she had... a blank face as this man had accused her. But this was different, she'd thought coming her would free her from all this, she wasn't going to let this happen here. She knew the best way out of this situation was to bluff. Making her voice as arrogant and controlled as she could, she spoke quickly, her eyes ever conscious of teh blade. "I wouldn't do that if I were you. You've no idea what you're really up against have you?" Krlla forced herself to laugh a little before pulling a punch into her captor's wrist, hoping he'd have to drop the knife.

Knarin made a suprised noise as the girl punched him. She freed herself and started to run away. Knarin snarled. Oh no you dont. He shot out his arm and the girl ran straight into it, sending shockwaves through his already injured arm. He gritted his teeth to hold in the cry of pain. He wrapped his other arm around the girl's throat and then stepped away, holding her against the wall with magic. He chuckled. 'I know exactly what I'M up against - it's what's your up against I'd be worried about...' Hey Takan! Look what I've found! The girl's eyes widened in suprise

(thank you borne for giving me something to reply to because I have no clue where I left off) Lorlyn glanced at Borne. She put her hand on Borne and sent stronger healing energy into him. "Glad to have you here and well. your one of our best healers. How many did you say there was? How many at most would you say there are. what did they look like? were you able to spot which one looked like the leader." asked lorlyn as she spotted a magician. "Go post a few magicans at the gate with the guards. the guards won't be able to send out a fast enough alarm. Be prepared for a strong fight on our hands." said lorlyn to the magician.

Krlla went cold with fear... she had no idea what to do now her bluff had failed. What were you supposed to do then? no-one had bothered to mentioned that -- she'd have no chance against someone with magic. "Please, please... I'm not what you think I'm not with them-- or not really-- well sort of maybe possibly. but not anymore. please let me get away if... umm." Krlla tried to jumble together enough words to save herself.

Takan looked on in surprise. A stray. Excellent. She may be able to help us to defeat them. Find out all you can from her. Knarin's eyes narrowed. 'You would betray your master to save your own life? You must be desperate.' He considered the girl before him. 'I could just do us all a favour and kill you now, but I'd rather find out what we're up against first.' Ignoring the girl's horrified expression, Knarin put his hands on her temples and entered her mind.

Borne looked at the high lady and said "I', not sure how many there are but i am sure there are more of us. I never saw there faces as they all wear grey robes and i am sure there leader looked like this." Borne drew on his power and sent it into the shape of their possible leader. "Sorry High Lady that i can't be of more help you can have a look at my memories of it if you like?"

(whoops I've been forgetting about Tya in the library... sorry) Tya had searched through all the possible books for some sort of clue, but had only come up with a few seemingly irrevelant. She pushed her hair back from her eyes and almost snarled with frustraion. There was nothing here that would help, nothing, a couple of handy hints would have been nice. But these enemies used something they had no imformation on except a diary of dates and a few cryptic clues. She left the library to report back to the High lady on her failure. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Krlla tried to control her thoughts -- at least simply shoving the most personal and the ones she'd kept from violation at all costs. Not that she's ever been able to stop anyone from reading her mind freely. Details of her mission kept flitting through her mind. In desperation she tried to recite her favourite myths to herself in the hope they might cover traces of her mission that crept out.

"thank you for offering Borne. I won't need to view it. We'll need to prepare for a fight. lets go" said lorlyn as she turned a left. She left the magician's quarters. She stepped into the courtyard and glanced around. She stopped a magician briefly. "Go to the arena. make sure their protecting it" said Lorlyn turning towards Borne. "Borne do you know of the secret stairs that lead to the roof to the magician's quarters? that would be a good look out to watch for them coming" said Lorlyn thoughtfully.

"I know about them but i can't get in. I could levitate up on to the roof if you want?" said Borne looking up.
