lance looked up at high lady lorlyn and nodded unable to speak slowly lance calmed himself breathing in and out

(I'll be a magician for this) Tya wandered into the baths and casting curious glances at the number of people. She moved noticed teh High Lady, LD, Borne and a novice gathered around something. She moved closer but still couldn't quite see what it was. "Good Evening everyb--." she began then noticed the body on the floor. "Ah," was all she could think to say.

"Yeh, not such a good evening after all" LD grimaced as Tya came in and saw the body.

lance saw lady tya enter the baths a look at the body saying something he didn't here looking back down at the body lance saw a scrumbled bit of paper on the floor picking it up and unscrolling it a frown crossed lances face on the bit of paper had no words but three numbers '572' quickly lance showed the paper to the high lady

LD frowned and threw lance a puzzled look.

'i dunno what it is' said lance

"Well it could be anything, could mean something or could mean nothing at all," LD mumbled.

Lorlyn watched as the novice calmed himself. She glanced back at the body when she heard someone else come in. She glanced back over to see Lady Tya walk in only to find a murder victim. She glanced back at the body, not fully paying attention to the chatter but rather looking for more clues. Lorlyn glanced over at lance when she saw him bend over out of the corner of her eye. After he had stood back up and had glanced at the paper she watched as quickly came towards her and showed her. She glanced down at the piece of paper that said '572' and stood up. She starred at the paper for a second, thinking for a moment to see if anything came to mind that help them understand the clue. "Well it's certainly a clue. You're right LD, it could be nothing at all but it's worth looking into. I don't know what this clue means but it's certainly not a room number as none of the room numbers go that high. It could be code for something. We'll have to talk to the people she knows and look into the places she has been. Borne go back outside and break up the servants and magician's around. Tell them the High Lady says to leave the area and to settle down. Tya or LD, I need one of you to go find some information. Check her quarters and see where she has been in the last few days, especially the last few hours and who saw her last. I need one of you to stay with me. We'll finish up with the scene here and then take the body to the healing quarters" said Lorlyn glancing at Lance. "Lance, I'll have to ask you to leave. Thank for for finding the clue, but a murder scene is no place for novices. However if you do think of a clue, please inform me. Also it might be wise to keep the details of this murder quiet. The less the murderer knows what we know the better" said Lorlyn.

"Ok high Lady. Shall I tell them to go about there normal duties? And with this being the female side shall i get the servants to half the male side for the females aswell?"

'ok' said lance as he walked outof the baths puzzling on what the numbers 572 meant

(sorry it took me a little while I was hooked literally to the book I was reading :-P) "Yes inform the servants to go about their normal duties. Yes that is a good idea. The woman will want to take baths and baring the women's baths will make them unhappy so splitting the men's bath is a good idea. Thank you Lord Borne" said Lorlyn.

Nodding to the High Lady, Borne walked out and told the servants to go about their normal duties and told the Bath attendants to seperate the male side into to to.

(I'm a servant of a House) Takan burst through the overgrown bushes. His feet hit every sharp stick and pointed twig on the ground as he hurtled through the forest at the back of the Magician's Guild. Adrenaline pumping through his veins, he glanced behind him and whimpered when he realised that the man who followed him from the House where he worked was still chasing after him, the lethal weapon in his hand. Seeing a gap in the trees ahead of him, he ran faster and nearly laughed in relief when he saw the High Lady's Residence almost directly in front of him. Running into the sunlight, the message still in his hand, he banged his fists against the front door and choked in horror finding it was locked - no-one was there. And then the man burst through the forest beside him. The stranger attacked Takan with a powerful stunstrike knocking him to the ground, gasping for air. He watched in horror as the strange man approached him, chuckling darkly.

Servant Reyna, High Lady Lorlyn's servant, looked up when she heard the banging to the door. She stood up from what she was cleaning, brushed off her hands and headed towards the door. She heard another sounds outside just as she was about to open the door, sounding like someone had been knocked or pushed up against the door. Reyna quickly opened the door to find a young man that looked like he was a servant of one of the houses, noticing a stranger attacking the servant. "Quickly inside" said Reyna. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Lorlyn looked back around. "There is no blood here. That piece of paper was left here but there isn't any blood around, so she either didn't bleed when she died, choked of some sort, or she was killed else where, which is highly likely. Being that this is a public area, it's likely the killer could have been easily seen" said Lorlyn thoughtfully. As she looked around she noticed something and walked towards it. (haven't decided what I want to notice yet so I'll post that a little later.)

(ok I'm going to be off for a bit but i'll be back) "I'll check her quarters. See if she's left any clues to her recent activities and ask a few questions to her neighbours. Perhaps also see if anything there leaves any clues about 572." Tya moved off towards entrance of the baths, she glanced back to see the High Lady walking off in the other direction. Had she seen another clue perhaps? Tya was almost tempted to wait and see but then shock her head -- if it was she'd tell them what it was. Wouldn't she?
