But I didn't want to go to the Guild especially after all that stuff with the Ichani. Half Sachakan and all, didn't think I'd be welcome. Few months later I was approached by someone who told me that they would teach me magic in exchange for a favour. I agreed. But I didn't realise that this favour was to gain more energy by using black magic on others. When I realised I tried to stop, but I couldn't. It's like this person could control what I did. It was horrible.' 'I asked my best friend for advice, he said that I could fake my own death by losing in a fight against him. So that's what happened. He nearly all my energy and I escaped. Moved to Imardin and started my life over. But after the stranger saw me that time he was fighting and i was with Lady Thania. I was supposed to be dead.' 'They would come for me. So I had to escape again and take Thania with me - which is why i came to the Guild in the first place. Came too late though.' 'But this stranger, his fighting tactics are very familiar. I believe that this stranger is the friend who helped me before.'

Listening to Takans story Thernia was shocked and said "The High Lady said that you can go to speak to the servant. But if he was the man who helped you, Why would he have tried to kill you?" asked Thernia who then started to help Takan up.

Takan shook his head sadly. 'You don't get a choice who you fight. We don't know how this person does it, but somehow they can control every move we make. It's their way of being in lots of places at once.' 'I think my friend was being controlled when he attacked me, but I won't know for certain until I see him.'
