Lorlyn raised his eyebrow, waiting for him to say more when she felt a strike go past her and hit her. She saw the stranger fall unconsious. She turned towards where the attack came from and saw Lance. "Novice Lance, what are doing in the Magician's quarters, let alone attacking someone, though enemy he may be" said Lorlyn. Lorlyn focused her mind on the stranger while keeping an eye on Lance. 'good he's still alive' thought Lorlyn.

Thernia looked at the servant and said "It's ok i am Thernia and i am the one who healed you. The High Lady is sorting out a prisoner at the moment and i am here to look after you untill she comes back. How are you feeling?"

'you must kill him now my servant then you can join us' said the voice in lances mind his thought were a mess. can i do it can i kill someone 'yes' said the voice 'do it now' rasing his hand lance shot a forcestrike at the stranger

Lorlyn eyed Lance. With her mind focused in healing mood she could sense someone was wrong. "LD, are you strong enough to shield? I need to shield the stranger. There is something wrong with Lance. I'm not sure what but something. My healing senses are telling that is something is off. Earlier he was so willing to help find the murdered and now he's not. Isn't it a bit strange?" asked Lorlyn queitly hoping the novice was to focused on what he was doing to hear her talking to LD.

Takan felt his stomach churn. The stranger is still here... 'I'm fine.' he told the healer. I hope the Guild hasn't tried do to anything stupid... Takan looked up, alarmed. 'The High Lady hasn't tried to fight the stranger, has she?' (I'm controlling the stranger now :) btw)

the unknown voice seemed to be yelling in lance mind lance tried toblock but it wasnt working. everything started to spin and lance fell to his knees cluching his head.

"No we had him surrounded before you fell and a few magicians escorted him somewhere into the guild grounds and he escaped btu the high lady beat him back. Is there anything I or the high lady should know about this man?" asked Thernia to Takan

Lorlyn stepped towards lance when he fell onto his knees. "What's wrong lance?"

standing up lance looked up at the high lady and sent a stunstrike with enough power to knock her out

(lance that's out of line. your a novice and not likely to be strong enough to knock me over.) Lorlyn held her shield and eyed the novice as she felt the novice send a stun strike at her. She strengthened her shield and drew her magic so that it would reflect the attack. She expanded her shield so that the reflected shield wouldn't get LD. She then sent a strong force shield and put her hands on Lances head and sent a strong mindstrike into lances head.

(suggestion lance...an idea but it's up to use it if you want. I had an idea that the mind strike might knock the stranger out of your mind or bring you back to your senses somewhat but only you can do that since my character doesn't know about someone influencing you etc....) Lorlyn removed her hands from lances head when he started to collapse from the stock of the strike. Lorlyn glanced over at the stranger, noticing that he was still knocked out. This novice was strong. Not as strong as her but strong and could one day be talented when fully trained. She sat back and watched the novice try to recover from the stock.

Takan looked away. He had to know. 'The stranger...' He looked up at Thernia, the expression on his face was one of fear and anxiety. '...I need to talk to him.'

OK Borne I'm coming Tya sent back. She rushed out of the novice's quarters, journal in hand, she's have to tell Lorlyn about it but after the intruder had been dealt with (if they hadn't already it before she arrived). Tya ran towards the entrance to the magician's guild hoping she wasn't too late and reached out to Borne in her mind again. I'm almost there. What particular help to you need from me.
