Lorlyn raised her eyebrow deciding whether to torture him by knife or by magic. "Borne would you go get me a nice sharp knife for me and perhaps tell Tya that I think we have a murder suspect"

knarin shot backwards slaming aganst a wall blood driped from his temple and nose standing up his legs felt weak 'i see that much strong i am going to give you one more chance if don't let me go more people will die' said knarin a blooded smile streached on his face

THe book written in diary form but wasn't in fact a diary. It seemed to be a log of meetings to perform some type of ritual but at first there were few details except that blood was used in the ritual and some herbs that Tya'd never heard of. No people were ever mentioned by name nor any places so it would be difficult to get any information about this. But this had to be signifigant -- the novice seemed pretty involved in this maybe they had something to do with her murder. As Tya moved through the book something began nagging her about the dates. They were all different but they all seemed similar some how -- even though they were on different days of the week and time of month. As the diary progressed the dates weren't written out in full -- in numbers instead and Tya finally noticed the connection. The numbers 5, 2 and 7 were always in the date. 5th day of the week, 7th day of the month, 2nd month in the year -- that must be the meaning to the slip of paper! The next meeting. She'd better report this back to Lorlyn -- she hadn't finished the diary or interviewed the neighbours but this seemed an important enough breakthrough to take a break and come back later.
