BMT movies has anyone considered how they would do the movies? (and I don't mean literally as in film and stuff :)) but do you think they would split up in three movies or do you think they would try to do it in one movie or most two?

I think this was discussed in depth in a previous thread already...
Lorlyn- 11-03-2006
was it? I don't remember it
j_mercuryuk- 11-03-2006
I don't either. But to answer Lorlyn's question....Yes, mainly times and whenever I read the books again. My mind plays out how I would do each scene and which bits I would cut out. But I'd do it as a BBC drama TV series.

I think the whole story wouldn´t fit into one film, so it would be done in three, and even then there would be missing lots of things.
Shadowed Empress- 11-03-2006
I think 3 seperate movies would be best to, like LOTR.
Lord Rothen- 11-03-2006
yes me too. i think it should be made into 3 seperate movies and definelty not into a tv/drama series. ahhhh it should be made into a film. i cant belive no one has seen the potential for it.
Zurina- 11-03-2006
I think three seperate films might be best for it to be successful, but for it to be loyal to the actual books the most, i think an animated tv series (not like dragonforce or pokemon but a decent one - no offence to people who like it) but i would love to see it drawn.

I'd love to see a live action version, but I think an anime would be best to capture the affects. But then you could just transfer anime affects to the big screen, the Matrix did it.
Zurina, ifwe ever meet, I will show you why anime is superb.

Somehow I just remembered the anime series Hellsing. The vampire Alucard is, in his not-so-cruel-moments, somehow like I imagine Akkarin to be.
j_mercuryuk- 11-04-2006
 Hellsing is an great anime
Through I'm not sure if I agree with you about alucard being like Akkarin.

lol cool ^_^ I've seen a few Helsing pieces, he's a pretty cool character :D
j_mercuryuk- 11-04-2006
Nope, Hallsing, not helsing. There's a difference between the two.
LittleRaven- 11-04-2006
Animé might be nice, if it's not exaggerated and the voices aren't as horrid as the stuff dubbed in English . Maybe something like The Twelve Kingdoms. That one's an animé where a Japanese girl gets taken away to be queen of a kingdom in another world, and it's sort of a political fantasy thriller.
But seeing it in any way would feel weird, even if it was done well.
Lorlyn- 11-04-2006
I mean I don't mind anime. but if it can be done just as well drawn in another form then I'd be happy with that. the problem with anime is it comes out in japenase first and well most of us don't speak jap.
