If it was made into only two films then you'd only get the bare minimum of the stories and plot, with a skimmed feeling film.

and being picked on by Regin, a rather important factor, and Akkarin discovering Lorlen, Rothen and Sonea know his secret, and the murders begining to be investigated, and Tayend and Dannyl, and Dorrien. You couldn't fit everything from one book in a film, let alone factors from tN as well.

To do full justice to the wonderful books, three seperate movies are essential, I agree. That way they don't have to cut any subplots or anything, and could even perhaps include some direct lines from the books :) That would be great, there are many good lines, especially said by Tayend, Lorlyn, Akkarin... ah, the sarcasm! hehe :D

Sorry, they'd still have to cut out alot of the subplots. It's just not possible to get in all in the films.

Ugh, what if the short series have those utterly cliche and dramatic cliff-hangers each week, though? We don't want to be rolling our eyes in expharation continuously...
