Actually, once you publish a book, it speaks for itself. You're supposed to have different interpretations of things, even what they look like, and it's annoying when an author tries to get you to see things exactly as they do. I don't believe that she's trying to get us to see things exactly as she does, since I've been given no indication of this. In her fanfiction section of the site, she says that she'd love to see who'd pair with who in a slash fanfic(though she'd never read it, but still). By the way, I read that she'd like to try her hand at writing a screenplay.

But surely the author's idea and version is definative? Yes, I saw that as well.
