Never seen the film...wel I think i might have sen the last 10 minutes and that was about 10 years ago or something, so i don't really remember any details like that.

aww... loved homeward bound... it was such a cute movie lol. but yeah metal communication isnt exactly original... i mean theres probably tons of movies that have managed to do it. I just think with BMT theres a lot of it, and some of its quite long distanced so it might be a lil hard to do, and would be confusing for the audience.

I don't think you'd get confused once you got used to it.

Maybe it would have to be explained early on, or just made really really obivous.

To me it would be easy to show.... You would see the sender close up and then all CSI like you would see his brain cells and then you would be zoomed into the next close up picture of another brain the recipient's and then see a close up of him while listening to the transmission sounding a bit different in voice - perhaps like a telephone convo - piece of cake!

Yeaah for you but not the special effects guys! Can you imagine how many times they'd have to do that and with different people.

And it may not suit it all the time, the voice would have to be different as well, to show thier a) not talking, b) the difference when it's a blood gem (lorlen mentions it when he first hears Akkarin through the gem that it sounds like he actually with Akkarin.) But I dthink there are things that will be far more trouble.

perhaps an echo-ish voice? and their facial expressions to change accordingly... i dunno for the blood gems though.
