Blitzed!
heres a crapy poem i found in one of my primary school jotters from quite a few years back: Blitz Bombing! Bombs are dropping everywhere Lots of ruble in the air Inside the shelter you can hear Tombs falling, causing fear Zap . . . another one falling near Bombs are dropping everywhere Only, this time i cant hear Mum is calling, out of fear Bellowing orders in our ears Inside my mind i want to cry Never mind im going to die German bombers overhead well that was it. i think it was from the time we where looking at world war 2.

Sounds like. Can't people say nazi instead of german? I always feel a little offended.

Lord Rothen- 11-12-2006

sorry, dont mean to offend!

Alira- 11-12-2006

I know, it was more in general.

Lord Rothen- 11-12-2006

If so can you suggest another way to end the poem? if so please tell me.

Alira- 11-12-2006

I don't know any way, sorry, I'm not so much into poetry. Anyway, the 4th line must be wrong, I think, it starts with B instead of T.

Lord Rothen- 11-12-2006

thank you for noticing that! lol im always bad or too lazy with my spelling and grammer.

Alira- 11-12-2006

You're welcome. I think there was something different wrong than spelling or grammar. *shrugs*

Well, Tombs dropping certainly brings interesting and amusing images to mind.

Lorlyn- 11-12-2006

it most certainly does bring up interesting images. but even if tombs sounds a little weird in the poem it goes with the poem. I see it as a symbol of people dieing, death. (not that the bombs weren't already symbols of death :-P) such a sad poem. I agree with Alira. people need to stop saying it was the german's who started the 2nd world war. it was the nazi's and the leader of the time. if I recall hilter killed other germans to. not to get into a histroy lesson but I was always interesting in world war I & II and some other different areas in history.

Lord Rothen- 11-13-2006

okay i'll try and come up with an alternative ending.

Alira- 11-13-2006

I'm glad someone agrees with me. The falling tombs would be interesting, indeed.

Lord Rothen- 11-13-2006

im sorry everyone i just cant think of another line. ahhhhhh

Lorlyn- 11-13-2006

don't worry about it Rothen. :)
