(Okay, I think I'll just 'be' in two threads at the same time until Daniver comes too...)
It hadn't taken Shadow long to finish her essay, only one evening spend in the library. The rest of the time she had spend on reading and practising globe lights and the warming of the air around her. She felt quiet confident that the globe lights were going pretty well. By reading up in books in the library, she had even managed to let a small globe light get another color. Though unsure if it was allowed to practice this, as they had not yet seen it in class, her curiosity had won her over. And after all, it was still globe lights, no? The warming of the air was something else. It worked, as long as she kept her full concentration upon the task and as soon as she let her concentration wander just a bit, it broke in pieces. Seeing in the mornings magicians walk through the garden in deep conversations, without having to think about the heating of the air around them, Shadow was a little jealous.
Walking through the hallways, she fidgetted with the scrolls in her hand. She could only hope it was good enough, after all she had not kep to one or two pages and she had brushed on more than two subjects. But the scrolls were just small ones, not having found larger papers in her bag. Knocking on the door, she walked in and looked around. Seeing Rothen, she bowed and walked up to him.
"Lord Rothen, here is my essay. I failed to follow the instructions completely and have discussed my own thoughts upon several uses of magic. I hope you don't mind. Otherwise, I'll try to get another essay ready by tomorrow, Lord."
Putting the papers down on his desk, she pulled at her robe in a nervous twitch. The three pages rolled nicely into one another, curling up on the desk.

Page 3 Quickly looking at the floor, she pulled at her robe again and walked to one of the chairs. Sitting down, she looked at Akala and bowed her head slightly to him, giving a weak smile.
