I didn't like how Leiard wouldn't do something like stop seeing Auraya when he knew he should have really have stopped seeing her. He didn't take action. I'm not sure if I'm describing it best but he drove me nuts with his affair with Auraya.

Yes, what was wrong with it? I never really understood....

I think it's the fact that Leiard was a Dreamweaver, and didn't worship the gods... and Auraya was a Priestess of the White, who was dedicated to the Gods, and was supposed to 'look down' on dreamweavers for having foregone an 'immortal soul' by refusing to worship the gods

but still, its not like it was illegal (the dreams were, but otherwise...)

But way back when Mirar was dreamweaver leader, and supposedly killed by Juran, the dreams weren't illegal

Their relationship wasn't illegal... but it definitely wasn't supported. After all, as I mentioned before, Auraya was one of the gods' representatives, and Leiard stood for everything un-godly...

Yeah, I think one of the gods mentioned that he/she didn't mind Auraya having a physical relationship with leiard.

I believe Huan originally liked Auraya for her work with the Siyee, and her attempts at forming an alliance with the Elai though... It was only after she refused to give up her will to Huan so the god could kill Mirar that she started being disliked by the god
