As Alira went through the dark, she smelled the slums. It was disgusting, like usual, but also agitating. Now that she was hunting, she experienced the world around her in a different way. Being a vampire meant she sensed her victims from afar and her anticipation on what would follow now grew. She stopped near a hidden door, smelling several people behind it. Drawing in their scent, she analysed it. None of them was seriously ill, none had angry wounds. She found the mechanism to open the door, using her magic and her senses. Her own words went through her mind. She hadn’t really promised Zurina not to hurt anyone, only that she wouldn’t bite, which meant transform in her view, and that she would promise not to kill if Zurina felt better then. Taking a last glance at the distant light that belonged to Zurina, she entered the hidden room. Not a sound came from the inside as Alira had the first really satisfying meal for months. When she left the room, four dead bodies lay on the ground, white as only bloodless corpses can be. Alira hurried into the direction of Lorlyn’s and Zurina’s scents, wiping away some blood from her cheek with her red robes, and soon saw the light they took with them. “I said I would find you again.” Smiling, she emerged from the darkness surrounding her and walked over to go between Lorlyn and Akala, since Zurina didn’t seem to be happy at all about her presence.

*Akala sweated, despite his chill. He'd only just entered the Guild for the first time, and now this! But he had no real time to think. He knew he must listen intently to Zurina and Lorlyn's instructions. He noticed Alira reappear, and turned to the Administrator and the Head of Healers*

Lorlyn nodded at what everyone said and followed Zurina down the trap door. Lorlyn looked back to see if Akala was coming and quickly tucked into the thieves road and took a gulp of bad air. "oh it's horrid down here" (everyone on the defenders side has permission to rpg as needed but don't howdo)

Zurina paced down the thieves road in a mood that fitted the situation well. Her globe light pulsed bright then dark as her anger varied within her. She heard mumblings behind her but kept walking, she had walked the path so many times in recent weeks but never with such a purpose, how she wished Ceryni was here with her now. Noting the panting behind she slowed and turned around to make sure they were all still with her. "When we get to the Guild we need a plan, they are already at the Guild and have taken over most of the healing quarters, its the worst place they coud have choosen, there are so many vunerable people there that they could feed on." Sighing she stopped, "Its not far, but when we reach the High Lords residence, i don't know what to expect, they are ignoring it for now however, it still intimidates them i am guessing."

"We'll be going into the highlord's basement correct? We should stay there for a few. we can put a shield up one that will keep them out and let us know they're near. Use it as a place to plan then move from there. Alira is the warrior we should see if she has any ideas" Lorlyn stopped walking thinking. Realizing Akala and Zurina had kept walking she called out to them. "Zurina, Akala. I just had a thought. Jmerc and them made an oath to the guild. Granted we win back the guild they can be punished or worse killed for the beach. true? though I hope we don't have to come to that...."

"Maybe they have a really good excuse..." Alira shrugged. "We can't decide anything about their punishment as long as we don't know their motives. And of course, as long as we don't get them. Anyway, how many entrances does the residence have, and where are they?"

"Any betrayal is a betrayal. But yes Administrator i agree with you, Alira is the warrior here, and beings as her senses seem so keen in her present state, perhaps she has an idea?" Zurina said looking towards Alira.

Akkarin sat still busy with Zurina's mind. The gem put him in touch, and right now he was having a hard time catching up with only Zurina's stressed thoughts to go by. After a while, Akkarin nodded to himself and summoned Takan. "Takan, there may be people showing up in the basement - give them something to drink, then kick them out, they have better things to do. I'll be going for a walk." Akkarin walked over to the bookshelf, grabbed a heavy tome, blew the dust off, walked off, strapping his Sachakan Knife on his belt as he went. He slammed the door shut behind him, leaving Takan behind, patiently watching the entrance to the basement.

"Werewolves usually fight in groups, when separated, their way of fighting is less efficient. But I don't know whether they already use this tactics." Alira paused for a moment, she could hear the howling of a werewolf from far away. "However, seeing as we are only 3 magicians and a novice, we need to stay together. And we can't risk that any of you is bitten, I don't know whether werewolf bites are curable." She looked questioningly at Zurina. Having been present when Indria had been attacked months ago, Alira knew that there was obviously no final way to cure it, but if there was at least a chance to suppress the symptoms, she would need a different way of defense against the attackers.

Lorlyn looked up suddenly when she heard Alira. "I thought you were flying above instead of taking the novice roads?" Lorlyn turned to Akala. "What skills do you know? any healing? any shielding?"

"Had to do something down here... and am more useful here..." Alira shrugged towards Lorlyn and turned back to Zurina.

So then how do we seperate the werewolves? jacob, lirael, balkan and indria are all werewolves correct? how about ebony? is jmerc the only human left? Zurina, aren't their minds sort of clouded when their in werewolf form? perhaps we could use that to our advantage.

"Yes they are clouded and when newly formed their only desire is to feed. Similer to that of a vampire" she said sarcastically in Aliras direction. Zurina sensed Akkarins strong presence. "Akkarin is in the Guild, but where i do not know." For some strange reason knowing Akkarin was here to defend the Guild comforted her, she relaxed more. "If we follow the tunnel for a bit longer, we will get there soon, we are expected."

Lorlyn nodded and stopped when Zurina stopped and magiced a trap door open.

Zurina nodded at Lorlyn and walked through meeting Takan they shared a brief meeting. He didn't know where Akkarin had gone, only that we weren't to stay. "Lorlyn, where do we go now?"
