:shudder: Hands. I can't draw them, they're the part of the the picture that always turns out the worst. So Zurina, where's this picture?

Zurina- 08-10-2006

Wala. Sonea and Akkarin and the infamous 'waterfall' scene.

j_mercuryuk- 08-10-2006

But without the beard. ;) It's goooooood, but if you don't mind me making one little comment. Either thier bodies are too small or thier head's are too big. It's not so bad on Akkarin, but it's noticable on sonea. Apart from that, I love it!!!!! :D

Zurina- 08-10-2006

BEEEEEEEEEEEEARD! I did mean to do it but completely forgot. Yeah, her head does look big, but it is becuase shes so thin. Everyones going to notice that now and point it out, i bet. lol

ebony- 08-10-2006

yeah i did notice that when i saw it. i love it though!

Zurina- 08-10-2006

That will be the last bit of work i shall submit in any case.

ebony- 08-10-2006

why? your work is FAB and we all love to view it. if you submit work you must be willing to recieve critism. there are many plus sides to your work anway so one little comment about a head being too big shouldnt bother you.

Ok thats it... grrrr.. firstly ebony shush.. Zurina is an artist so whether she gets a good or bad comment it doesnt matter cos thats what art is about; diffrent people see things diffrently she doesnt get upset when someone says something bad she takes it into account, its what helps her grow as an artist. However regularly people post comments which can sound negative to some and to be fair are not necessary. So please lets all calm down. Ok basicly if you criticise ok thats fine but do so in a good spirited manner, and be careful to not offend. Repeating another criticism doesnt help and isnt needed really... And rather then using a post to just criticise use it to compliment too. Many of you do but some forget. You should include both as the saying goes.. if you dont have anything nice to say dont say anything at all. Thats it. I want the subject closed and back on to topic. ------------------------------------------------------ Zurina Its a great pic.. I liekd it ebfore and I like it now.. Im glad u missed the bear cos I like to think fo him without one.. *hugs*

j_mercuryuk- 08-10-2006

:sniff: I like Zurina's pictures. I prefer him clean shaven as well. p.s sorry if my message sounded offensive, I didn't mean it to be.

-Savara-- 08-10-2006

Yeyh clean shaven akkarin is best.. beards r a realy turn off mostly.. except in captain jack cases lol pirates need them.. actualyl facial hair can be nice.. but betetr stop thinking of captain jack Someone else who can draw ie not me should try and attempt the same scene and their thoughts on it..

Shadowed Empress- 08-11-2006

Great pic Zurina! I think it's good that you made them thin, after all they hadn't eaten properly for ages and it would seem too unreal and posed if they both looked perfect. I'd much rather have a clean shaven Akkarin too ;) Like Savara mentioned, facial hair is usually a turn off...

Heidi- 08-11-2006

sometimes it is!!! some stubble looks gd thou lol

Shadowed Empress- 08-11-2006

Yep like on captain Jack :) Well here's a 'behind the waterfall' pic from me... it's a work in progress though.. I know they aren't blonde, lol. I'm planning to watercolour it. By the way, I used a HP fanart for reference for the pose. I may be being a little picky, but I don't like to say it's completely mine unless it really is, and on this I refered to another drawing made by someone else for the positioning of Sonea's arms. Just to keep on the safe side :)

Kasloumor- 08-11-2006

Wau! Shadoved Empress! That is purely wonderful. They look absolutely beautiful!

Shadowed Empress- 08-11-2006

Yay! I'm glad you like it! xD
