She? :S He :P Fiancé is talking about the male engagee, Fiancée is talking about the female engagee :) I've had to halt my WIP cause i cant get the neck right -.-

Oh my, the work on here is so beautiful I almost feel ashamed for posting this monstrosity. This is the (failed) drawing of Osen I promised ages ago. I kept putting it off, but at last I forced myself to turn the laptop off and draw him. Not quite as I intended him to look (actually, it’s nothing like I intended – my work never turns out how it’s meant to), but it could have been worse... somehow. I also posted it over on dA; the link is in my signature, if you want to see some of my other work.

I like his hair :) Very good

Lady Tya- 10-29-2008

It's a really good drawing , so I like it in that sense, but it really doesn't look liek how I image Osen -- too feminine IMO.

Fallen Angel- 10-29-2008

Thanks Ora, the hair is the only part I actually like. Lol. I agree, Lady Tya. Not how I imagined him either. It came out all wrong. Usually I’m quite good at drawing men, then when I draw women they look too masculine, but this time it went the other way round. I kept trying to make the eyes smaller and his chin less pointy, but then his face was too round and the eyes were too small so I changed it back. I don't know what's going on with the lips either... My hand was not cooperating very well with my brain that day. At one point I had to start again because I kept rubbing so much out that there were smudges all over the paper. And the scanner's made it look all grainy. I think I need to draw him again. Thanks for being honest :) Oh, and according to my brother he looks Japanese... :-?

LittleRaven- 10-30-2008

He looks like one of the pretty boys from a Korean manga I have. It's not bad though, just not what I imagined him looking like.

Fallen Angel- 10-31-2008

Manga? I really messed up big time. No matter what I draw, it turns out wrong! I draw women and they look like men, I draw men and they look like women, my attempts at manga look like a 5-year-old's scribbles, and now that... thing *points* looks like manga. But yeah, it did turn out too pretty for my liking. Like I said, that's not even how I imagine him. As soon as I'm in the drawing mood, I'll do him again. And this time he will not look like a girl.

Lady Darkness- 10-31-2008

I like it!!! Love the hair! The texture on it is amazing.

j_mercuryuk- 10-31-2008

I'm just happy to see osen art :D It's not a bad attempt at all. The hair is nice.

Fallen Angel- 10-31-2008

I must disagree there, but thank you all the same.

j_mercuryuk- 10-31-2008

About the hair being nice? Well, i Think the hair line comes down a little too far, but besides that it's good.

Fallen Angel- 10-31-2008

Meh... I just dislike the whole drawing. Actually, despise better describes it. I'm never fond of things I create.

Lady Darkness- 10-31-2008

shouldnt be so overly critical, i know its hard not to be.

Fallen Angel- 11-01-2008

*sigh* I'm cursed with being a perfectionist. Sometimes I'll rub out so much that the paper gets ruined and I have to start again, because a line was wonky or one little part didn't look right. It's the same with writing - I'll retype something about ten times just because I don't like one sentence. With hygiene it gets to the point of OCD. I have to wash plates/cutlery about three times before I use them, even if they’ve just been cleaned. It frustrates me, but I can’t help it.

Sheepy-Pie- 11-01-2008

Ok, it's not BMT related again i know, but i will have one soon :p My first proper photmanipulation (as the first one i did i spent 15 mins on);
