For the last drawing? I did it digitally on photoshop, but you could create a smiliar effect using chalk and charcoal on brown pastel paper (or any brown paper for that matter :) ) Great work on Sonea by the way! Love it!

:opps: Sorry, it looks like handmade. I love your picture. Perhaps I try drawing like this. I bought some brown and white chalk, but I can't find brown paper *keeps on searching* :roll:
Now, heres Akkarin :shock: I don't think It really fits. He looks too young and his eyes are creepy.

Well it's good but you're right it doesn't look exactly right for Akkarin, although the eyes don't seem too creepy IMO. I liked your other one of Sonea it was very good.

Hey don't be sorry, but give it a go with chalks, or even dry pastels will do the trick. Good start with Akkarin, i've been trying to draw him for 2 years and still haven't succeeded so don't give up! lol

contruction paper would have brown paper. It would likely have to dark of a brown though and I don't know if it would be good paper for drawing. I know my work (office depot) has a contruction paper. Other then that I'd suggest a arts and craft store. We have JoAnn's and Micheal's out here though you guys are bound to have other stores then us.
Beyond that...I don't know a thing about art so that's about all I know :) (I may not be able to draw but I sure know my way around an arts and craft store :-P)

Okay, found some paper. Its incredible thick but I'll do my best. The drawing is not that good because I tried first with chalk. However I enjoyed drawing with three colours :)
