Wow, that's a really nice drawing!! Which leads me to this question - does it ever actually state Akkarin's age in the book? All I can remember is that he's 'young' - you would've thought he was too young to be High Lord, but his magical strength was beyond...

Sonea says in tHL that she's nearly 20 and he says he's 13 years older then she is, so he's 32 by the end. That's a nice couple of pictures, I like that Ora choose to do something differnet :D I don't think i've ever seen that scence done before.

Yeah, that's one of the most memorable scenes too... I guess because you really get to know Akkarin

She was sixteen in the first book, and the beginning of the third is about a year and a half after the events of the first book. At the end of the book, she's probably eighteen, so I figured he was 31.

I thought he was 32 or 33. She's 19 in third book.....

So that would make him around 30 in the first book? I was just reading the end of TMG - that half-smile!! Aurgh. That half smile is the only thing about Akkarin that really frustrates me... :P

right, after my art lesson i thought i'd have another shot at akkarin and sonea my last one was done over a year ago (though i only posted it recently, as i only joined recently) and i'm not very happy with it at all. so lets see what difference a year of art lessons makes EDIT = i just realised that part of sonea's hair has gone in an odd direction (the bit, just after her parting) i didn't intend for that, so i guess that she's just ran her hand throug it or somthing, opp's :oops:

Aw thats great, their postitioning looks perfect and the angle in which you've drawn Sonea from looks brilliant. Great work.
